Nothing is better than settling down for the evening with some fresh popped corn and a good movie to watch. It is both an individual and family pastime. For some, movies are more than that. These folks are aficionados devoted to anything film-related. They are not alone. There are websites dedicated to those movie buffs in the world who appreciate a good thing when they see it. Here are a few.
REVIEWS -
It's sometimes best to know what you're getting into before you rent or download that movie. Getting the opinion of others who have reviewed them is one way to go.
MovieReviews - This website features no nonsense reviews by people who have an opinion about what they've watched. You can search for movies by category or just type in the one you want to know about. MovieReviews also offers trailers and movie news. Anyone can participate in rating and reviewing on this comprehensive site.
RogerEbert - A well known name in movie reviewing, rogerebert.com lives up to its reputation. Commentary about favorite movies is concise and descriptive. Very thorough "critique", suziecat! I love movies. My first job, at 16, was in a movie theater. Best job I ever had! Apparently I passed that on to my daughter as she has family movie night now with her own family!

Great list of sites. I use IMDB whenever I want to play a quick game of 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. It makes it pretty easy to find connections between actors.

Great websites! Any film buffs out there should also be aware of www.bafta.org The British Academy of Film and Television Arts website. It's a treasure trove of information, images and video content from film directors, producers, actors and more.

"Citizen Kane" was one of the great old movies, suziecat7, but I loved most of the pre-1960 movies. "Gunga Din' was my biggest favorite (not counting all the great Bing Crosby movies), but I would take up half this page if I listed just the best of the best old movies. Rosebud.

Great hub for movie buffs like me! I'm always going to Roger Ebert's site to check out his reviews of a movie either before or after I see a new movie. He's one of the only reviewers I trust & agree with most of the time. Love the Inception trailer; that movie was terrific. Again, great hub!

Great stuff! I'd actually recommend maybe some more pictures of movies, or perhaps an amazon capsule with some games etc...but hey, this is a great article, regardless!
